Background

I studied Visual Arts at UC Berkeley, got my start in user experience design and user interface, and then evolved to specialize in product design. Leveraging my visual design foundation and deep user empathy, I’ve established myself as a well-rounded designer who creates human-centered designs with cohesive throughlines at every touchpoint, from vision and strategy to brand awareness and marketing to product development and delightful micro-interactions.

Throughout my years of professional experience, I’ve worked freelance, in-house, at startups and companies, developing a wide range of multi-disciplinary skills in diverse contexts. My insatiable curiosity, high craft, and adaptability enable me to generate impact in our ever-changing environment.

How I solve problems

Here’s a look at my approach

  • Deeply understand the problem

    By analyzing user behavior and empathizing with users through in-person interviews, I identify major pain points in core user flows.

  • Prototype, validate, and A/B test

    Next, I would start creating prototype solutions and validating them with additional user interviews and feedback. Then, I would run an A/B test.

  • Build and measure the impact

    Then, I build and ship fast, usually within 1-2 weeks. Later, I will add heavy instrumentation and quickly follow with optimizations based on early data.
